Men
Equipping Men to Lead
In the Home • In the World • In the Kingdom
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13–14
Meeting time: 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month @ 9am
The Men’s Ministry exists to equip men to walk as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and to lead their families with strength, humility, and godliness. We gather monthly to study God’s Word, sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron, and encourage one another in the high calling of being husbands, fathers, brothers, and leaders. Our focus is not on programs or activities, but on forming men who live out the Gospel in their homes, churches, and communities.
Goals:
- To grow in sanctification and biblical maturity.
- To train men as family shepherds who disciple their wives and children.
- To develop habits of prayer, Scripture study, and catechism in the home.
- To equip men to resist temptation, flee worldliness, and pursue holiness.
- To strengthen brotherhood and accountability among men.
Possible Study Topics:
- Sanctification by Grace (Romans 6) – Living as slaves to Christ, not sin.
- Family Shepherding (Titus 1–2) – Elder-like leadership in the home.
- Spiritual Warfare & the Flesh (Ephesians 6, Galatians 5) – Battling sin at its root.
- Biblical Masculinity – Strength, humility, and servant-leadership.
- Prayer & Spiritual Disciplines – Building habits of grace.
- Husbands and Fathers (Ephesians 5–6) – Loving, leading, discipling at home.
- Catechism & Family Worship – Passing on the faith to the next generation.
- Accountability & Brotherhood – Fighting sin together, not alone.
- Work, Calling, and Integrity – Faithfulness in vocation and witness.
- Endurance & Perseverance (Hebrews 12) – Running the race to the end.
Format:
We meet twice a month for fellowship, teaching, discussion, and prayer. Each gathering emphasizes practical application—equipping men not only to learn but to lead in their homes and spheres of influence.
- First meeting: extended lesson and training time.
- Second meeting: less formal, including brunch, worship, discussion, and prayer.
