God’s sovereign purposes must be fulfilled Ⅱ

1 When Rachel saw that she was not bearing Jacob any children, she became jealous of her sister. So she said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I`ll die!”

Genesis 30:1

Rachel said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I’ll die!”
Have you ever felt like that? That if you couldn’t do or achieve some great ideal you would surely DIE? If so, then you can certainly relate to the rest of humanity. In fact: 

The History of Humanity is the History of Struggle

Since the beginning of humanity, every member of the human race has been fighting for his or her own interests and rights. This is why people often say that human history is a history of struggle. There has always been, and will always be a struggle over politics, the economy, society, and culture.

The great empires that form the background of biblical stories, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece (the Hellenistic empire), and Rome each experienced a rise and fall through their own history of struggle.

And as long as human history continues, the history of struggle will continue.

In 1651, the British philosopher Thomas Hobbes wrote of this concept in his book, Leviathan, expressing it as the “War of All Against All,” describing it as “a perpetual war of every man against his neighbor.” He argues that “The natural state of men, before they entered into society, was … a war of all men against all men.”

He goes on to state that every human being is free and equal and has the right to do anything they need to do to survive. However, if each person pursued such rights infinitely, it would lead to a natural state of this ‘War of All Against All’ as a result.

So what about the modern society we live in? Many social hierarchies and social classes that had once divided whole groups of people into different classifications have disappeared, but new social classes have now emerged according to a person’s economic power.

In a materialistic society, capital has become a symbol of power.

As such, we are always nervous in an infinitely competitive society. Then, how should we live in the history of this struggle?

Of course, there was also a struggle for each person in the Bible. But as we know, God’s sovereign purposes must be fulfilled throughout the history of human struggle.

In Genesis chapter 30 today, we will take a look at a handful of human struggles. Maybe some of us can relate to these struggles. Although desired outcomes may different, most struggles occur between the people we are closest to. And who are we closer to than our families? Let’s being our study of Genesis chapter 30 with:

The struggle between Leah and Rachel

Genesis 30:1-3 ;9

1 When Rachel saw that she was not bearing Jacob any children, she became jealous of her sister. So she said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I`ll die!” 2 Jacob became angry with her and said, “Am I in the place of God, who has kept you from having children?” 3 Then she said, “Here is Bilhah, my maidservant. Sleep with her so that she can bear children for me and that through her I too can build a family.”

9 When Leah saw that she had stopped having children, she took her maidservant Zilpah and gave her to Jacob as a wife.

In ancient Israeli culture, women who could not have children were shamed and looked down upon, relegating them to a lower place in the hierarchy of society. On the other hand, women who had many children increased in power, honor, and position in the family and society.

At that time, a child obtained through the union of a wife’s maidservant and her husband was recognized as her own because it was understood that maidservants were considered to be the property of their mistress.

This story hearkens back to that of Abraham, Jacob’s grandfather. At one point, Abraham’s wife Sarah could not have a son, so she gave her maidservant Hagar to her husband to sleep with in order to produce a child. The son that was born to Abraham and Hagar was named Ishmael, and he would have been considered Sarah’s child, and Abraham’s heir.

However, after Abraham and Sarah stopped trying to manipulate fate on their own and completely obeyed God, God granted them the son of promise through Sarah’s own womb, and they named him Isaac. In this case, because Abraham finally received the son promised to Sarah directly through his wife and not her maidservant, this tells us that the essence of problem solving depends on God’s sovereignty.

However, the history of human folly and failure is often repeated, and will be repeated here again with Jacob and his wives. Jacob’s wives, Rachel and Leah, engaged in a child birthing competition with each other that was supposed to enable them to gain more power and a higher position in the family.

Rachel, who was initially unable to get pregnant, gave her maidservant Bilhah to her husband to sleep with. Bilhah produced Dan and Naphtali for her mistress’ family line.

Leah later “saw that she had stopped having children”, and did the same, giving her maidservant Zilpah to her husband and receiving Gad and Asher for her family line.

After the score between their maid servants’ birth count was tied at 2 to 2, God opened both women’s wombs again and allowed them both to get pregnant again.

Leah gave birth to Issachar, Zebulun, and a daughter Dinah, and Rachel gave birth to Joseph through God’s sovereignty. 

Rachel was eager to have children and attempted to buy mandrakes from Leah.

Genesis 30:14-15

14 During wheat harvest, Reuben went out into the fields and found some mandrake plants, which he brought to his mother Leah. Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son`s mandrakes.”

15 But she said to her, “Wasn`t it enough that you took away my husband? Will you take my son`s mandrakes too?”  “Very well,” Rachel said, “he can sleep with you tonight in return for your son`s mandrakes.”

At that time, there was a widespread superstition that mandrake juice strengthened human reproductive power. So, by buying mandrakeks from Leah, Rachel was hoping to increase the headcount of her offspring. However, it wasn’t the mandrakes that had helped Rachel have a son, but God. After Joseph, Rachel stopped having children, but Leah was able to continue giving birth to more children.

Rachel and Leah had tried to use both maidservants and mandrakes to beat each other in their family building competition. But in truth, the birth of the ancestors of the twelve tribes of Israel was only achieved through God’s sovereignty, and not through their clever manipulation of the “game” and competitive tactics.

While the women of this family were busy struggling to gain influence over one another by building a longer and stronger family line for Jacob, the patriarch, Jacob and his uncle Laban were engaged in their own struggle over building wealth. Let us turn now to: 

The struggle between Jacob and Laban

to compare how their struggle for power and influence differed from that of Jacob’s two wives.

Like Rachel and Leah, Jacob and Laban fought against each other to build their families.

However, unlike Rachel and Leah, whose ultimate purpose had been united in building up a single family, that of their husband, Jacob and Laban’s ultimate purpose differed dramatically.

As Jacob’s family, possessions, influence, wealth, and power grew, he decided that he wanted to leave his uncle Laban’s household, in order to continue growing his own household, independent from his uncle.

But Laban saw that Jacob was a good worker, and urged him to stay under his roof in order to further expand Laban’s own wealth and influence by leveraging Jacob’s prosperity for his own benefit. Laban realized that God had blessed Jacob, and attempted to negotiate a contract with him in order to trap Jacob into staying. The salary negotiations between the two contained an unconventional proposal which allowed for Jacob to set his own wages.

Genesis 30:31-32 ;34-36

31 “What shall I give you?” he asked.  “Don`t give me anything,” Jacob replied. “But if you will do this one thing for me, I will go on tending your flocks and watching over them: 32 Let me go through all your flocks today and remove from them every speckled or spotted sheep, every dark-colored lamb and every spotted or speckled goat. They will be my wages.

34 “Agreed,” said Laban. “Let it be as you have said.”

35 That same day he removed all the male goats that were streaked or spotted, and all the speckled or spotted female goats (all that had white on them) and all the dark-colored lambs, and he placed them in the care of his sons. 36 Then he put a three-day journey between himself and Jacob, while Jacob continued to tend the rest of Laban`s flocks.

Jacob agreed to continue his life as a salaryman under his uncle Laban’s employment. But, he also did not forget that he made a vow to God when he had left his father’s house. Recall that Jacob had promised that if God protected him and allowed him to return to his father’s house, he would serve God as his master.

Therefore, Jacob proposed a completely new deal on Laban’s unconventional wage contract. At first glance it seems like such a suggestion would ultimately work against Jacob. But Laban knew that Jacob was clever, so he ordered his sons to move the livestock that Jacob had proposed to receive as his wages to a long distance away, hoping to prevent him from becoming prosperous.

But, Laban clearly underestimated Jacob, who was able to cleverly absorb most of Laban’s property over a period of time by causing Laban’s flocks to mate in such a way as to produce the type of offspring he desired, and that the two had agreed would be Jacob’s wages.

In modern terms, Laban’s family embezzled Jacob’s full salary, but through clever manipulation of the animals under his care, Jacob eventually became the majority shareholder in Laban’s company. This story illustrates that God’s blessing has now returned to Jacob, and been removed from Laban.

God blessed Jacob so that both his family and wealth would grow greatly. Then, through the struggle between Jacob and Laban, God eventually led Jacob out of Laban’s house along with his large family and abundant wealth. God accompanied Jacob, becoming his Lord and Master, and later grew the entire Israelite nation out of Jacob’s offspring.

The Israel nation grew and prospered, and over the next nearly two thousand years, endured countless additional struggles. At times they were blessed greatly as Jacob and his family had been. At other times, they endured war, invasion, and even capture and enslavement. As the nation grew, so grew its struggles, in the same way that as history lengthens, so lengthen the struggles of humanity. But finally, the nation’s greatest struggle came in the form of a baby, who grew to become a man who challenged the status quo, and many viewed as a revolutionary, or a visionary prophet, or simply a mad man. Yet, very few people at that time realized the truth about who he really was, and what he actually came to do. Let us turn now to:

The struggle between the people and Jesus Christ

From even before Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem, people fought and struggled around him. They did not realize that Jesus was their master, sent by God and one with God, and only sought to use him for their own benefit in much the same way that Leah and Rachel had tried to use their maid servants to benefit themselves, or Laban had tried to use Jacob to benefit himself.

Many disciples and the crowds who followed him confessed Jesus as the Messiah of Israel only because they had expected him to come in power, to rebuild the Davidic dynasty. They confessed Jesus as a political messiah who would destroy the great Roman empire, liberate the Jews, and rule the whole world.

John 19:18-19

18 Here they crucified him, and with him two others — one on each side and Jesus in the middle. 19 Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Those who opposed Jesus regarded him as a political revolutionary and a demagogue of the crowd. They considered Jesus a challenger to their political or religious power.

Yes, everyone thought they had figured Jesus out. Either he was on your team and would lead it to ultimate victory, or he was against your team and would seek to overthrow your power. But everyone understood that with Jesus, a great struggle was inevitable.

But then, the unthinkable happened. Jesus, the central figure of history, and the central figure of all political and religious struggle at that time, died – without a struggle – on the cross, completely shattering the expectations of all the people – both those for him, and those against him. 

Yes, in death, Jesus shattered everyone’s expectations. There would be no great uprising, no great political or religious struggle, no overthrowing of any earthly powers, and no restoration of Israel’s former glory. Everyone had been wrong about him.

But then, three days later…

Jesus rose again, defeating death, sin, and hell. It was through Jesus’ death rather than through his life that he accomplished the prophecy and the work of the Messiah, bringing resurrection and life, and the forgiveness of sins and a restoration of a right relationship to God the father, to everyone who puts their trust in him.

Actually, during Jesus’ life, he was not concerned about the struggles of humanity, the war of all against all. Instead, Jesus followed and obeyed God’s sovereign will, which was established for the sake of all humanity, in order to end our neverending struggles against God, against each other, and against sin and death. But because Jesus didn’t follow the expectations the people had for him, he disappointed everyone who had followed him, although he satisfied God.

As a result of Jesus’ obedience to God’s sovereign will, we have good news through him!

If Jesus had spent his time on earth focused only on solving humanity’s struggles and living up to other people’s expectations, then we would not have been able to gain eternal life through his death and resurrection. Although there may have been some temporary benefits to Jesus’ help in the moment, there could have never been eternal benefits without his sacrifice.

Jesus pursued the will of God and now he comes to each of us individually and invites us to allow him to become the savior we all need. We are still living in the struggles of history and if we only focus on our own needs and benefits, we will never stop fighting with one another and with God.

According to the idea of a ‘struggle society’, all our neighbors are competitors and enemies.

However, from a Christian perspective, all our neighbors become brothers and sisters in Christ.

Therefore, let us give up our own judgments and obey God’s sovereignty. Let us love our brothers and sisters in Christ. And before doing all this, let us pray for wisdom to live in this life of struggles as Jesus did! This is the best way Jesus has shown us to live.

Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus replied: “`Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.` 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.` 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

하나님의 주권에 순종하라

1 라헬이 자기가 야곱에게서 아들을 낳지 못함을 보고 그의 언니를 시기하여 야곱에게 이르되 내게 자식을 낳게 하라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 죽겠노라

인간의 역사는 투쟁의 역사

 인간은 자신의 이익과 권리를 위해 투쟁하는 존재입니다.

그래서 인간의 역사는 투쟁의 역사라고 말합니다.

정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등 인간 사회의 전반적인 영역에서 투쟁이 일어납니다.

성경 이야기의 배경이 되는 대제국들인 애굽, 앗수를, 바벨론, 페르시아, 헬라, 로마 또한 세력간의

투쟁의 역사를 통해 흥망성쇠를 경험하였습니다.

인간의 역사가 계속되는 한, 투쟁의 역사도 계속 될 것입니다.

영국의 철학자 토마스 홉스는 그의 저서 <리버이어던>(1651)에서 자연상태에서의 인간을 표현한 정치용어로 “만인의 만인에 대한 투쟁”이란 말을 하였습니다. 

그는 인간이 저마다 자유롭고 평등하여 생존을 위해서는 무엇이든지 할 수 있는 권리인 ‘자연권’을 가지고 있으나, 각자가 모두 그와 같은 권리를 무한히 추구하면 결과적으로 ‘만인의 만인에 대한 싸움’이라는 자연상태가 된다고 하였습니다.

우리가 살아가는 현대 사회는 어떠한가요?

신분을 나타내는 계급은 대부분 사라졌지만, 경제 능력에 따른 새로운 계급이 등장하였습니다.

물질 만능 주의 사회에서 자본은 힘과 권력을 상징하게 되었습니다.

이처럼 우리는 무한 경쟁사회 속에서 언제나 긴장을 하면서 살아가고 있습니다.

이런 투쟁의 역사 가운데에서 우리 그리스도인은 어떻게 살아가야 할까요?

물론 성경에서 등장하는 인물들 에게도 저마다의 투쟁이 있었습니다.

우리는 인간의 투쟁의 역사 가운데에서도 하나님의 주권은 반드시 이루어 집니다.

오늘 우리는 < 하나님의 주권에 순종하라 >라는 제목으로 창세기 30장의 말씀을 나누겠습니다.

레아와 라헬의 투쟁(출산 경쟁)

창세기 30:1-3 ;9

1 라헬이 자기가 야곱에게서 아들을 낳지 못함을 보고 그의 언니를 시기하여 야곱에게 이르되 내게 자식을 낳게 하라 그렇지 아니하면 내가 죽겠노라

2 야곱이 라헬에게 성을 내어 이르되 그대를 임신하지 못하게 하시는 이는 하나님이시니 내가 하나님을 대신하겠느냐

3 라헬이 이르되 내 여종 빌하에게로 들어가라 그가 아들을 낳아 내 무릎에 두리니 그러면 나도 그로 말미암아 자식을 얻겠노라 하고

9 레아가 자기의 출산이 멈춤을 보고 그의 시녀 실바를 데려다가 야곱에게 주어 아내로 삼게 하였더니

옛 이스라엘에서 여자가 아이를 낳지 못하는 것은 수치로 여겨졌습니다.

반대로 많은 자녀를 낳은 여자는 가정에서 권력을 갖게 되었습니다.

여종을 통해 얻은 아이는 여주인의 자녀로 인정되었습니다.

그 이유는 여종은 여주인의 소유로 여겨졌기 때문입니다.

이 이야기는 우리에게 야곱의 할아버지인 아브라함을 떠올리게 합니다.

아브라함의 아내 사라는 아들을 낳을 수 없어, 여종 하갈을 통해 아들을 얻었습니다.

그가 아들은 이스마엘 이었습니다.

아브라함과 사라가 하나님께 온전히 순종한 이후 그들은 하나님께로부터 약속의 아들 이삭을 얻게 되었습니다. 아브라함은 여종이 아닌 자신의 아내 사라를 통해 약속을 얻게 되었습니다. 이것은 우리에게 문제 해결의 본질은 하나님께 달려있다는 사실을 알려줍니다.

그러나 인간의 어리석음과 실패의 역사는 반복됩니다.

야곱의 아내들인 라헬과 레아는 가정에서의 권력을 갖기 위해 출산 경쟁을 시작하였습니다.

라헬은 시녀 빌하를 통해 단과 납달리를 얻었습니다.

레아는 시녀 실바를 통해 갓과 아셀을 얻었습니다.

이후 하나님은 그들의 소원을 들어주셨습니다.

하나님은 라헬과 레아가 다시 출산할 수 있도록 허락하셨습니다.

레아는 하나님의 도움으로 스불론과 딸, 디나를 낳았습니다.

라헬은 하나님의 도움으로 요셉을 낳았습니다.

라헬은 출산을 하고 싶은 마음이 간절하여 레아로부터 합환채를 구입하였습니다.

창세기 30:14-15

14 밀 거둘 때 르우벤이 나가서 들에서 합환채를 얻어 그의 어머니 레아에게 드렸더니 라헬이 레아에게 이르되 언니의 아들의 합환채를 청구하노라

15 레아가 그에게 이르되 네가 내 남편을 빼앗은 것이 작은 일이냐 그런데 네가 내 아들의 합환채도 빼앗고자 하느냐 라헬이 이르되 그러면 언니의 아들의 합환채 대신에 오늘 밤에 내 남편이 언니와 동침하리라 하니라

합환채는 만드라고라의 작고 노란 열매를 의미합니다.

당시에 이 열매의 즙이 인간의 번식력을 강화한다는 미신이 널리 퍼져 있었다.

라헬은 레아와의 거래를 통해 합환채를 얻었지만, 계속해서 아이를 출산한 사람은 레아였습니다.

라헬이 아들을 낳을 수 있도록 도운 것은 합환채가 아니었습니다. 하나님이 라헬의 출산을 도우셨습니다.

라헬과 레아 이 자매는 출산 경쟁에서 이기기 위해 시녀와, 합환채를 이용하였습니다.

그러나 이스라엘의 근원이 되는 열 두 지파의 조상의 탄생은 하나님의 주권을 통해 완성 되었습니다.

야곱과 라반의 투쟁(연봉 협상)

라헬과 레아가 투쟁하였던 것 처럼, 야곱과 라반도 투쟁하였습니다.

그들의 추구하는 목표는 서로 달랐습니다.

야곱은 이제 삼촌인 라반을 떠나 독립된 자신의 기업을 세우고 싶었습니다.

그러나 라반은 일 잘하는 야곱이 계속 자신과 함께 머물러 자신의 기업을 성장시켜 주기를 원했습니다. 

라반은 하나님이 야곱에게 복을 주신다는 것을 깨달았기 때문입니다.

라반은 야곱을 붙잡기 위해 그에게 연봉 협상을 제안하였습니다.

그 연봉 협상은 야곱이 연봉을 정할 수 있는 파격적인 제안이 들어있었습니다.

창세기 30:31-32 ;34-36

31 라반이 이르되 내가 무엇으로 네게 주랴 야곱이 이르되 외삼촌께서 내게 아무것도 주시지 않아도 나를 위하여 이 일을 행하시면 내가 다시 외삼촌의 양 떼를 먹이고 지키리이다

32 오늘 내가 외삼촌의 양 떼에 두루 다니며 그 양 중에 아롱진 것과 점 있는 것과 검은 것을 가려내며 또 염소 중에 점 있는 것과 아롱진 것을 가려내리니 이같은 것이 내 품삯이 되리이다

34 라반이 이르되 내가 네 말대로 하리라 하고

35 그 날에 그가 숫염소 중 얼룩무늬 있는 것과 점 있는 것을 가리고 암염소 중 흰 바탕에 아롱진 것과 점 있는 것을 가리고 양 중의 검은 것들을 가려 자기 아들들의 손에 맡기고

36 자기와 야곱의 사이를 사흘 길이 뜨게 하였고 야곱은 라반의 남은 양 떼를 치니라

야곱은 라반의 기업에서 월급쟁이로 삶을 마치고 싶지 않았습니다.

야곱은 그가 아버지의 집에서 떠나올 때 하나님께 서원한 것을 잊지 않았습니다.

그것은 하나님이 야곱을 지켜주시고 아버지의 집으로 돌아가게 해주시면, 야곱이 하나님을 주인으로 섬기겠다는 것이었습니다.

야곱은 라반의 파격적인 연봉협상 제안에 대해, 새로운 협상 방식을 제안하였습니다.

이것은 전에 없던 방식이었으며, 야곱에게 불리해보이는 제안처럼 보였습니다.

그러나 라반은 야곱이 영리하다는 것을 알고 있었기 때문에, 그는 그의 아들들을 통해 야곱이 제안한 가축들을 멀리 떨어진 곳으로 옮겨놓았습니다.

그러나 야곱은 자신이 알고있는 특별한 방법을 사용하여 라반의 재산의 대부분을 흡수하였습니다. 

좀 더 현대적으로 말하면 라반의 가족은 야곱의 연봉을 횡령하였지만, 야곱은 결국 라반의 기업의 대주주가 되어버린 것입니다.

이를 통해 성경은 하나님의 복이 이제는 라반이 아닌 야곱에게 돌아간다는 사실을 알려주고 있습니다.

하나님은 야곱과 라반의 투쟁을 통해서, 야곱이 라반의 집으로부터 그의 가족과 재물을 이끌고 나올 수 있게 하셨습니다.

하나님은 야곱의 하나님이 되시기 위해, 또한 야곱을 통해 이스라엘이 민족을 이루시기 위해 야곱과 동행하셨습니다.

예수 그리스도를 둘러싼 사람들의 투쟁(정치 혁명)

예수님이 이 땅에 오셨을 때 사람들은 예수님을 중심으로 투쟁하였습니다.

그들은 예수님이 자신의 주인임을 깨닫지 못하고, 오직 자신의 이익을 위해 예수님을 이용하였습니다.

예수님을 따르던 제자와 무리들은 예수님을 다윗 왕조를 재건할 이스라엘의 메시아로 고백했습니다.

또한 그들은 예수님을 강대국을 멸하고 자신들을 해방시키며 온 세상을 다스릴 정치적 메시야로 고백했습니다.

요한복음 19:18-19

18 그들이 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박을새 다른 두 사람도 그와 함께 좌우편에 못 박으니 예수는 가운데 있더라

19 빌라도가 패를 써서 십자가 위에 붙이니 나사렛 예수 유대인의 왕이라 기록되었더라

예수님을 반대하던 무리는 예수님을 정치적 혁명가, 유대인으로 왕으로서 무리들을 선동하는 사람으로 여겼습니다.

그들은 예수님이 자신의 정치적인 권력에 대해 도전하는 인물로 보았습니다.

그러나 예수님은 사람들의 기대와는 달리 십자가에서 초라하게 죽음을 맞이하셨습니다.

예수님은 오히려 죽음을 통해 메시아에 대한 예언을 성취하셨습니다.

중요한 것은 죽음을 통해 예수님이 우리에게 부활과 생명을 가져오셨다는 사실 입니다.

예수님은 사람들의 투쟁에 관심을 갖지 않으셨습니다.

예수님은 하나님의 주권과 뜻에 순종하셨습니다.

그래서 예수님은 사람들을 실망하게 만들었지만, 하나님을 만족스럽게 하셨습니다.

결과적으로는 예수님의 순종을 통해 우리가 기쁜 소식을 얻게 되었습니다.

만약 예수님이 사람들의 투쟁에 대한 해결에 집중하셨다면, 우리는 영원한 생명을 얻을 수 없었을 것입니다.

우리가 눈 앞에 보이는 이익은 얻을 수 있었겠지만, 영원한 이익을 얻지 못했을 것입니다.

예수님은 하나님의 뜻을 추구하였습니다.

예수님은 이로 인해 우리 한사람 한사람에게 각각 찾아오셔서 나의 구원자가 되셨습니다.

우리는 지금도 투쟁의 역사 속에서 살아가고 있습니다.

내가 나의 이익 만을 집중한다면 우리는 결코 투쟁을 멈출 수 없을 것입니다.

‘투쟁하는 사회’라는 관점에 따르면 나의 이웃은 모두 경쟁자이며 적으로 보이게 됩니다.

그리스도인의 관점에 따르면 나의 이웃은 모두 하나님 안에서 형제 자매가 됩니다.

나의 판단을 포기하고 하나님의 주권에 순종하십시요.

그리고 주 안에서 형제 자매들을 사랑하십시요.

마태복음 22:37-40

37 예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니

38 이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요

39 둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니

40 이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라
