In Gethsemane, Jesus wrestled with agony, loneliness, and sorrow—but chose to trust and obey God’s will. He prayed earnestly, preparing to face betrayal and death with courage. His example reminds us to surrender our will in prayer, trust God as “Abba,” and rise to face trials with faith, knowing He is with us—even when we feel alone.

Jesus prepares for His death during the Last Supper, establishing Communion to remember His sacrifice. True faith requires self-examination, repentance, and unity in Christ. Communion is a proclamation of His death, a celebration of His return, and fellowship with Him. Love, not betrayal, is our call. God is alive, good, great—and nothing is impossible for Him.

As Jesus approaches the cross, Mary pours out costly perfume to honor Him—a powerful act of love. True love doesn’t calculate cost; it gives freely and fully. While others saw waste, Jesus saw worship. Some opportunities never return—love must act when it can. Deeds done in love for Christ leave a fragrance that lasts forever in God’s heart.

At the Final Judgment, Jesus will separate people like sheep and goats. True faith is revealed not by words, but by everyday acts of love and mercy toward others. These deeds aren’t the cause of salvation, but the evidence of it. What we do for others, we do for Christ. Our actions show what we truly believe.

God entrusts each of us with gifts, talents, and opportunities—each according to our ability. He calls us to use them diligently for His Kingdom. What are you doing with what God gave you? Do you see Jesus as good or harsh? One day, you will stand before Him. Will He say, “Well done, good and faithful servant”?

Jesus is coming—surely, suddenly, and unexpectedly. In the parable of the ten virgins, only the wise were prepared with oil—symbolizing the Holy Spirit and true faith. We cannot borrow or obtain salvation last minute. Our personal relationship with Christ must be real and ready now. When He returns, the door will close. Are you ready?

The end will come when the gospel is preached to all nations. Evangelism is the mission of every believer—our most meaningful work on earth. Despite fear or lack of knowledge, we’re called to testify about Christ. We scatter the seed; God gives the growth. The gospel must go out. Then, and only then, Jesus will return.

Jesus warns of deception, disaster, persecution, and cold hearts in the last days. Though trouble surrounds us, God remains sovereign. True faith endures through tribulation—it is not destroyed, but revealed. Trials purify us, shaping us into Christ’s likeness. Stand firm, love deeply, and watch carefully. The end will come, but so will our salvation. God is always in control.

Jesus exposes the hypocrisy of religious leaders who valued appearance over sincerity, rules over mercy, and status over humility. The seven woes warn us to examine ourselves, not just others. True greatness is found in humility, sincerity, and love for truth. God desires repentance, not performance. Let us follow Christ with pure hearts, not whitewashed appearances.

God’s kingdom is a joyful banquet, graciously inviting all—both good and bad. Yet, not all who are invited enter, and not all who enter are prepared. True acceptance requires responding with a transformed life. Many are called, but few are chosen. Let us come joyfully, humbly, and clothed in Christ, ready to honor the King.
